POLICE CONFIRMS RAID ON AKWA IBOM IPOB CAMP, ARRESTS SUSPECT
Akwa Ibom State Police Command has confirmed the raiding of IPOB camp and subsequent arrest of some suspects.
In a police coded message seen by our reporter, the command said they raided the camp which is located at Essien Udim Local Government Area which it describes as “The Camp/Shrine”.
The statement further claims the arrest of some IPOB/ESN members which has been terrorizing Akwa Ibom Communities.
Among those arrested include Lawrence Saviour Akpan of Obot Akara Nto Asiak, Saturday Okon Job of Uruk Osun Obot Akara, Friday Philip Inyang of Ikot Afengaha Village in Essien Udim, Emediong Micheal Davis of Mbiobong Ikono Uyo, Friday Peter Akpan of Ikot Akpan Essien Udim and the wife of the dreaded juju priest Mrs Imaobong Saviour Nkwo of Ikot Obuk, Obot Akara Local Government Area.
The statement further assures that the force is still on ground to maintain stability.

THE CAMP/SHRINES WERE DESTROYED, AND THE FOLLOWING SUSPECT WERE ARRESTED ; LAWRENCE SAVIOUR AKPAN OF OBOT AKARA NTO ASIAK, SATURDAY OKON JOB OF URUK OSUN OBOT AKARA, FRIDAY PHILLIP INYANG OF IKOT AFENGAHA VILLAGE OF ESSIEN UDIM, EMEDIONG MICHAEL DAVIES OF MBIOBONG IKONO UYO, FRIDAY PETER APKAN OF IKOT AKPAN ESSIEN UDIM LGA AND ALSO THE WIFE OF THE DREADED JUJU PRIEST X MRS IMAOBONG SAVIOUR NKWO F OF IKOT OBUK OBOT AKARA LGA WAS APPREHENDED.
