SHOCKING! ! ! How Unknown Gunmen Assassinated Professor Ndubisi Alongside His Police Orderly

The management and staffs of Science and Equipment Development Institute (SEDI) were thrown into shock following the assassination of the Director General of the Institute, Prof. Samuel Ndubisi, by unknown gunmen.
The assassination took place, barely 48 hours after Ifeanyi Okeke, the Director and Chief Executive Officer of AutoEase Services Limited was assassinated in the presence of his eight year old son by unknown gunmen.
It was gathered that the Professor was murdered along the Port Harcourt Expressway in Enugu along side his police orderly on his way back home at around 4. 00pm.
The Executive Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who visited the scene, expressed his shock over the incident, while urging the police to unravel the circumstances surrounding the murder and bring the culprits to book.
Mr. Sam Wadzani, the Chairman of Academic Staff Union of Research Institutions of SEDI, when contacted on telephone, said the union was in shock and could not speak at the moment.
He said, ” Please my dear, the entire staff of SEDI are in shock. I am in the hospital please. I speak to you later. “
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, when contacted on the telephone, confirmed the incident but said that information surrounding his assassination was still unclear.
Ndukwe said, ” Information surrounding a shooting incident today, 07/07/2021 at about 1600hrs, along Enugu/Port- Harcourt Expressway, said to have led to the death of a man and his Police orderly, is still sketchy.
” Meanwhile, preliminary investigation has commenced. Further development will be duly communicated, please. “
The PPRO also urged residents of the state and the general public to report any suspicious movements around them to the police, adding that anyone with useful information about the whereabouts of the culprits to make such information available to the police.
