ETINAN STATE CONSTITUENCY 2023: ‘I WILL NOT DISAPPOINT DELEGATES & ELECTORATES’ – UDUAKOBONG EKPO-UFOT ASSURES

… AS CAMPAIGN TRAIN TOURS WARDS IN ETINAN

The special assistant to Akwa Ibom State Governor on Protocol and aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Etinan State Constituency seat, UduakObong Ekpo-Ufot has declared that he will hold dear to his heart, the unwavering support of Etinan delegates and electorates when voted into the house of assembly.
The technology and media expert gave the assurance when his consultation train embarked on a Ward-to-Ward Tour of Etinan State Constituency on Monday, March 28, 2022 to intimate the grassroot politicians of his intention to represent them at the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly in 2023.
In his remark, while addressing supporters at various wards, Mr Uduak-Obong revealed that his approach to legislation would be to use the counsel of the elders, hear the cry of the women and use information gathered from the interaction with the youths to effectively represent the people of Etinan State Constituency.
The train, led by the Director General of the Campaign Committee, the International President of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio & Political Leader of Etinan North 1, Obong Patrick Udofia flagged off the Ward Tour at Southern Iman Ward 4.
The entourage had the former frontline contender, the special assistant to governor on transportation, Mr Udo Jonathan Ekwere, who had withdrawn from the race to support his kinsman, UduakObong, also present were Special Assistants to Governor; Mr Anieken Ekwere (Million Dollar), Mr Donald Uko, Mr Udeme Udofia and Mr Godfada Uko.










At all wards of the People’s Democratic Party in Etinan, Team UduakObong was received with a rousing welcome by the Ward Chairmen and Exco.
In separate statements (and songs in some cases) the responses by the leadership of the various wards reinstated the resolve of the party faithfuls to remain united and committed towards delivering a credible candidate, fit and sound enough to represent the ‘brain basket’ of the state in the house of assembly.
Born into the family of Late Professor Abel & Deaconess Helen Ekpo-Ufot of Ata Efa in Etinan, Uduak Ekpo-Ufot is a technology, media & telecommunications professional with 20 years experience in the Nigerian & Sub Saharan African corporate sector. A member of the Rotary Club, he has as part of his humanitarian services, through corporate social responsibility and a foundation named after his late mum, given educational and entrepreneurial grants to hundreds of students and entrepreneurs respectively, both of Efa-Etinan origin and youths of Akwa Ibom at large.
