UNIUYO TEACHING HOSPITAL SPEAKS ON OUTBREAK OF CORONAVIRUS IN UYO

University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Akwa Ibom State has reacted to social media rumours that there was a case of Coronavirus also known as COVID 19 in hospital.

Dr. Emem Bassey, the Chief Medical Director in a message sent out by himself said there is no confirmed case of COVID 19 in University of Uyo Teaching Hospital.

” THERE IS NO CONFIRMED CASE OF COVID-19 VIRUS INFECTION IN THE UNIVERSITY OF UYO TEACHING HOSPITAL” –

There has been speculations that a woman whose infected husband works offshore had been infected.
