Akwa Ibom state University (AKSU) graduate says he has cure for Covid 19
Nse Abasifreke Essien, a chemistry graduate of Akwa Ibom State University(AKSU) in 2015 says he has the cure for novel Coronavirus also known as COVID 19.
Yesterday, during a media interaction with some select journalists, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel challenged scientist from two tertiary institutions in the state to engage in research for COVID 19 vaccine.
“I challenge any Scientists from Uniuyo and AKSU to also engage in the research for covid-19 vaccine”, Governor Udom Emmanuel was quoted yesterday during the media parley.
In a response to the call by the Akwa Ibom Governor, Mr. Nse made a post on Facebook, he said his team has since discovered herbal cure for Covid19 and they are ready for testing and retesting.
“Reminder, I’m a product of AKSU. My research team was able to discover an herbal cure for covid19 via validation research 8 weeks ago. The cure is still available. We are available for any test and retest processes of our cure by other very good research and health scientists” his post read.
When our reporter contacted the scientist, he said the herbs used for the research has the ability to destroy the virus up to 95% and it’s curable in 3-4 hours. Nse further said his proposal has been validated through an intense research with the herbs.
According to Bellnews.com which first published this news, Mr. Nse Abasifreke Essien is studying for Masters in research, measurements and evaluation at University of Port Harcourt.
Nse is ready to offer the sample to Akwa Ibom State Government, NCDC and other research agencies for testing. He confirmed that the sample had undergone series of validation research
