Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Trade, Commerce and Investment, Prince (Barr) Ukpong Akpabio made this known to the public during a presentation in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital yesterday.
On the benefits of the platform, the commissioner said the portal will provide a free channel to market and sell products/services, reduce marketing cost compared to other sales channel, allows for new opportunities for nationwide sales, offer a convenient way to compare prices and products from a single source, offers new trade partnership and create an online marketplace.
In his presentation, Prince Akpabio said the directory will serve as a networking platform for SMEs with benefits such as “Access to markets, economic growth and development, entrepreneurial development, technological innovations, advertisement of goods and services and sustainable partnership for investment”
