Video: Etinan residents cry for help as rainstorms destroy homes
Rainstorm has made David Jonathan, a native of Ikot Udo Otto in Etinan Community, homeless today, 8th April.
The incident happened at Ikot Udo Otto village, close to their site for their market, as fallen trees destroyed homes and farmlands, while a windstorm removed some roofs with no life lost or anyone injured.
A youth leader claimed that the rain, which started normal, became heavy as the wind blew off rooftops, destroying everything in its path.
David Jonathan, the most affected victim, begged authorities to help him by sending a save our soul message to the Akwa Ibom State Government, Political Class in Etinan, and the general public.
Speaking on the sideline, a community leader, Mr. Samuel Udoh, who was also affected by the havoc caused by the wild wind, appealed for support for victims of the incident.
