FIVE ONNA PUPILS BAG SCHOLARSHIP FROM EDU OFFONG FOUNDATION
About 5 pupils attending Government Primary School, Ikot Akpatek, Onna community last week bagged scholarship from primary school till tertiary levels from Lady Edu Anthony Offong – DU foundation.
Addressing pupils and staff of the school, the Chairman Board of Directors of DU foundation, Lady Edu Offong thanked God for her life, urged the pupils to be obedience to their parents and celebrated the teachers for laying a good foundation for the pupils and the community at large.
She also announced the scholarship package the foundation has already concluded with five brightest pupils with the school management.
The foundation also feted 40 women, youths and pupils with food stuffs, education materials and money for SME businesses.
Responding, the headmistress of the school, Mrs. Grace Udoh appreciated the foundation and thanked the Board of Directors for choosing the school in their tour of changing lives across the state.
