IMOH OKON SUSPENSION CAME AS A SAD NEWS TO ME – UKAI

Acting Chairman of Uyo Local Government Area, Hon. Ukai Udeme Emmanuel says that the suspension of Elder Imoh Okon, the former Chairman of Uyo came as a sad news to him.
Speaking with Female Publishers in Akwa Ibom State today in his office, Ukai assured that his boss is going on a leave and may subsequently return to office.
Recall that Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly suspended Elder Imoh Okon as Chairman for gross misconduct in administration and unhealthy welfare packages for council officers despite raking official revenue of about 80 million naira monthly.
On the issues that He(Ukai) was celebrating his boss suspension, Ukai said story is unfounded, mischievous and baseless peddled and sponsored by political actors to smear and mar his heard earned reputation in the society and should be disregarded
He however called on all and sundry irrespective of party differences, religion, sex, tribe, race and above all individual interest to join hands together to chart a new course for the good people of Uyo Local Government Area better than what he came to meet.
