The gubernatorial aspiration of the PDP leading aspirant, Pastor Umo Eno has continued to receive massive nods and acceptance from all quarters in the state with his unanimous adoption as the choiced candidate for the hilltop mansion job in 2023.
Latest is from the foremost socio-political group in the State, The New Breed for Sustainable Development which has declared its total support for the State Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources.
The group International Coordinator, Engr. Ekpenyong Ekpenyong made this decision known on Tuesday when they played host to the leading governorship aspirant, Pastor Umo Eno at the State Organisation Secretariat, Bennett Bassey, Uyo.
The New Breed Boss who described Pastor Umo Eno as a man who believes in Sustainable Development, said after consultation with National, State Executives and Chapter Coordinators, The New Breed family has decided to adopt the State Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources as their sole candidate for 2023 elections adding that, they were going to canvass to ensure his success at the poll.
“As a group, we stand for the truth, we have met with the chapter, Ward and Unit Coordinators and agreed that not even one vote will be missing in our areas. We are going to promote the name Umo Eno.”
“We believe in what you believe which is sustainable development and as such, the New Breed for Sustainable Development hereby adopt you as the ‘only candidate’ for 2023 elections.” he said
On his part, the leading aspirant of PDP, Pastor Umo Eno who toured round the facility commended the organisation for the love and awesome contributions to enterprenuerial development of young people adding that, skills acquisition is part of his dreams for Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking further, he described himself as an accomplished enterprenur who has been in the business of creating jobs all his life and promised to do more when he assume Office.
The various areas of the free skills training include; Catering, Makeover, Leather Work, Fashion Design, Audio/Visual Production, Agriculture, ICT, Photography and Videography.
