“TALENT DEVELOPMENT CARDINAL IN THE COMPLETION AGENDA” – EMMANUEL OWUALA

The Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Talent Hunt, Mr. Emmanuel Godwin, has reiterated government’s commitment to human capacity development, saying, talent hunt and development remains a cardinal aspect of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Completion Agenda.
He made the disclosure yesterday when he led his team on a strategic partnership visit to Nectaryn Integrated Services, a photography and cinematography outfit in Uyo.
The renowned entertainer and broadcaster lauded his Boss, the Governor, for deeming it fit to create an office for Talent Hunt and appointing him to head a critical aspect of the Completion Agenda, stressing that the task was multidimensional.
He reiterated Governor Udom Emmanuel’s resolve to harness the inert potentials of Akwa Ibomites and helping them create wealth from it. The visit, he stated, was to establish a partnership with the media outfit to help discover and horn exceptional talents in the area of cinematography across the State.

Mr. Godwin bemoaned the short supply of Akwa Ibom women in the profession and encouraged them to consider a career in it.
“If I’m not mistaken, only about two female Akwa Ibomites are cinematographers, and that’s not impressive. With the quality of equipment and experience Nectaryn studios have, I’m certain that we can collaborate to harvest and harness talents that will make the State proud”, he said.
In her response, the MD/CEO of Nectaryn Integrated Services, Mrs. Emem Udonyah applauded the Special Assistant for the timely visit and expressed her readiness to partner with his office to discover and groom talents across the State.

She admonished Akwa Ibom youths to further embrace industry and entrepreneurship in line with the dakkada philosophy of the present administration.
Mrs. Udonyah, therefore, promised her full support to the administration and the Special Assistant, urging him to call on the company whenever the need arose.
