#AkwaIbomAt33: Twins Celebrate Akwa Ibom @33
Twin Alive foundation, the umbrella organization for Twins in Nigeria has joined millions of well wishers to celebrate Akwa Ibom on the 33years anniversary of state creation.
According to the Press release signed by the National Coordinator, Twin Idongesit, ”Akwa Ibom state being a state with Mary Slessor historical site, has played host to twins for the past 10 years during our Annual Twins National Convention. The state and her people are hospitable.
”Twin Alive foundation the umbrella organization for Twins in Nigeria exist in the state and will continue to compliment government efforts through system strengthening, Education, economic empowerment, care and support of vulnerable twins, multiple births and others.
”It is our belief that the industrial drive and educational projects will help the state achieve the leadership mantra- Dakkada(Arise).
As we celebrate today let us arise as a state to reduce gender base violence, lack of educational facilities in public schools, low- employment rate, provision of steady power supply for businesses to strive, make provision for quality and accessible health care service, work on major roads like IBB Road and lots more.
