COVID-19: AKWA IBOM STATE GOVERNMENT SPEAKS ON LOCKDOWN
Akwa Ibom State Government has spoken on the extension and relaxing the lockdown in Akwa Ibom State over the outbreak of novel Coronavirus.
Akwa Ibom State Government official, Sir Charles Udoh, Commissioner for Information while addressing newsmen today after the state Executive council meeting presided over by Mr. Udom Emmanuel the Governor of the state.

Recall that the Governor while addressing members of NUJ yesterday said he will speak on the lockdown after consulting with other states.
“On lockdown,I will come back to announce it let me liase with other states”, Mr Udom said yesterday.
But speaking today, the commissionerfor information said the lockdown continues till otherwise announced.
“Let me reiterate that the lockdown occasioned by Quarantine And Regulation of Movement Bill 2020, is still in force until otherwise announced”
