AKWA IBOM APC VOWS TO TAKE OVER HILTOP MANSION, ELECTS NEW STATE CHAIRMAN
All Progressive Congress, Akwa Ibom State chapter has vowed to take over governance of the state come 2023.
Arising from a “True Stakeholders” meeting at Amunice Event Center, Uyo today 2nd February, a stakeholder Captain Effiong Eyo declared that APC will take over Akwa Ibom State Government from May 2023.

“Our mission is to ensure total inclusiveness and repositioning of the party as we prepare to take over power in the state in 2023″
The meeting which was cordinated by members of Akwa Ibom APC Alliance (AAA), an APC group in the state nominated Hon. Engr. Ime Mbom as the interim chairman of APC in the state.
The group further adopted Engr. Larry Esin, a former gubernatorial flag bearer of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in the state the Leader of Akwa Ibom APC Alliance.
Responding after his nomination and endorsement as interim chairman of APC, Engr. Ime Mbom said he has accepted the nomination and assured that the party will win in 2023.

“I accept the nomination, i assure you we will work together to move our party forward. I can assure you, in 2023 general election APC will win majority of the seats, in the state House of Assembly, House of Representative, Senate, Presidency and Akwa Ibom State Governorship will be won by APC”.

Ime Mbom was a former house member representing Uruan in 1991. He was also the first minority whip having won under NRC an opposition party back then.
