Despite admitting performing poor, Iniobong Robson’s aide say boss is maintaining the elders
Executive Chairman of Esit Eket, Hon. Iniobong Robson has reacted to Center of Good Governance and Accountability ranking of performance of local goverment areas in Akwa Ibom for 2021.
Recall that we earlier published a report by an NGO – Center for Good Governance and Accountability, Abuja ranking Hon. Iniobong Robson, Chairman of Esit Eket as the worst performing council chairman in Akwa Ibom State.
But in a swift reaction, media to the chairman, Comrade Unwana Assam on social media -facebook listed the performance of his boss including “Maintenance of elders”.
He further gave more list of achievements of his boss as Chairman of Esit Eket as
” Many Esit Eket indigenes have been empowered to start up something meaningful and do for their lives.”
“He has trained many Esit Eket youths in oil and gas-related skills”
“He’s currently building state-of-the-art legislative chambers. I mean a legislative chamber u won’t see in any LGA in Aks”
“Paying school fees for many students in higher institutions”
“Gave business support to people to start-up businesses”
“Attracted and distributed slots to the community and youths ( many of them are at work offshore now), etc.”
A social media user Mberekkeobong Essien
while commenting on the issue blamed lack of media coverage of his activities
He wrote “considering enormous inflow of Internally Generated Revenue, I think from report so far, hmmmmm I am tempted to agree with them. One of the richest Local Governments. Two-term Chairman. No report over his performance on media”
Pastor Itoro Ebenezer of Open Heaven Assembly located at Etebi Idung Ita reacted saying the council chairman in the last four years graded any road in the local government area.
Quoting Jeremiah 29:11 Pastor Itoro said Hon. Robson is a planning calamity for the people of Esit Eket with his kind of administration.
