AKIPAM INAUGURATES EXECUTIVE COUNCIL, ENDORSES PASTOR UMO ENO FOR GOVERNOR

The Akwa Ibom State Peoples Alliance Movement (AKIPAM), in conjunction with Maintain Peace Movement (MPM) in the State, yesterday inaugurated the Executive Council of the group in an epoch gathering at Ibom Hall, IBB Avenue, Uyo.
During the event, AKIPAM moved a motion to endorse Pastor Umo Eno and Senator Akon Eyakenyi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governor and Deputy candidate, as their choices ahead of the 2023 general election.
The event had Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey as Guest of Honour, and Rt. Hon. Frank Archibong as Special Guest of Honour.
In his Opening Speech, the Chairman on the Occasion, Elder Bassey Asuquo, thanked the organizers of the program, particularly the President, Kingsley Uduakabasi, the Vice President, Etim Ekere, and all the exco members. According to him, AKIPAM has been recognized as the fourth largest political group in support of Umo Eno, which gave birth to the approval of the ceremony. They have joined hands to make the occasion successful.




He appreciated the group for the work done in all the Senatorial Districts and the mammoth crowd they have been able to pull out. Elder Asuquo encouraged all group members to continue their excellent work, which will pay out soon.
Therefore, He tasked all present to ensure they get their voters card and be prepared for the election as 2023 is fast approaching.
Following the Inauguration and Oath of office directed by Barr. Udeme Dan, the President Comrade Kingsley Uduakabasi, appreciated God for his Grace and Benevolence so far and applauded members present for the massive turnout.
Comrade Kingsley assured the people that Pastor Umo Eno, whom they have chosen to support, is the right candidate for the job as he has experienced his wealth of experience in many ways. He pledged to work together in one accord with all the inaugurated members and members at large to ensure that come 2023, their aim is fulfilled. He also encouraged people to get their PVCs to vote during the general elections.
Afterward, the President General of Fathers in Faith, Prelate Isaiah Isong, prayed for all those inaugurated, asked God for the Grace to carry on, and for his Guidance and protection of all; he added that in the long run, no life should be lost.
Highlights of the event included decorating the exco members by Eteidung Ita Willie and presenting songs by Indigenous Artists.
Also inaugurated included: Comrade Etim Ekere as Vice President, Ambassador George JP as Secretary, Ambassador Kings Akpan as Eket Senatorial District Leader, Comrade Patrick Efanga as Uyo Senatorial District coordinator, Captain Paul Ubulu as Eket Senatorial District coordinator, Pastor Ephraim Michael as Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District coordinator, Pastor Imoh as Prayer Leader, Pastor Imoeyen as Assistant Prayer Leader, Pastor Itoro Gideon as Woman Leader, amongst others.
