AKWA IBOM POLICE FIX DATE FOR RECRUITMENT OF VOLUNTEERS INTO NIGERIA POLICE SPECIAL CONSTABULARY
Akwa Ibom State Police Command has concluded arrangements to hold screening and recruitment of able bodied men and women into the Nigeria Police Special Constabulary.
According to Police Press Release AZ:5300/AIS/PPRD/VOL.4/ of 9th March, 2020 signed by the State PRO CSP N-Nudam K. Fredrick, “the screening and recruitment exercise will be conducted across the thirty six (36) Police Divisions of Akwa Ibom State by the constituted community policing committees of the Divisions.”
“The Command therefore urges interested applicants to report at the Police Divisional Headquarters in which they reside for the exercise which will commence between 10th and 20th March, 2020.
All candidates must possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 49yrs;
Must be residents of the Local Government Area or Division where the exercise is conducted; - Must be physically fit and willing to serve voluntarily in the Division where they reside;
- Must be of sound mind and without criminal record.
The peace loving people of Akwa Ibom State are advised to shun any fraudulent attempt and act by any person or group of persons who will in any guise capitalize on the exercise to exploit them financially.”
