SAMPSON IDIONG HANGOUT ENDS IN FIASCO AS ONE FEARED DEAD, REPRISALS ATTACKS
Daniel Sunday Idiong has been killed during a new year hangout organized by Special Assistant to the Governor on Inter-Ministerial and Direct Labour Committee, Prince Sampson Idiong in Ata Obio Akpa village in Oruk Anam community of Akwa Ibom State.
According to sources who pleaded not to be named, Daniel Sunday Idiong was killed during a disagreements between alleged members of cult groups on who to share fifty thousand naira (N50,000) donation by Mr Sampson Idiong.
Our source further said the fight between alleged members of Iceland confraternity and De Bam led to the death of Mr Daniel Sunday Idiong. The deceased, Mr Idiong who resided along Udo Idiong Avenue in Ata Obio Akpa, left behind a wife and a three week-old baby.
According to a another source, Mr Daniel Sunday Idiong was allegedly stabbed to dead by one Ubon Amaowo also known as Akpaka, leading to desertion of Akpaka’s family compound on Ikot Okoro road opposite Ata Obio Akpa primary school.

It could be recalled that the empowerment program of Sampson Idiong in December 2020 was marred by violence and cult clashes.
Mr Sampson Idiong recently has been touted as the Grand Commander of the boys in Oruk Anam.
There has been reported reprisals attacks today 5 January at the family compound of the alleged killer about 5:30pm
Efforts to reach Sampson Idiong proved abortive as his phone number ending with 88 was unavailable.
