Teacher, Imaobong Ekaette speaks on Impact of Inoyo Toro Foundation

The Teachers Speak: Impact of Inoyo Toro Foundation 12 Years On
Mrs. Imaobong Ekaette Ekaette, a Biology teacher at the Christian Commercial Secondary School, Uyo, noted that the Inoyo Toro Foundation is an organization that celebrates excellence and that the selection exercise was perfect because the best of the best were selected after the screening. She averred that for a teacher like her to be remembered on earth, has very positive impact on her which propelled her to ensure that other teachers as well as students benefit from the knowledge gathered.
Mrs Ekaette said that before she won the award, her school used to go to other secondary schools to borrow laboratory equipments for practicals but after the training from the foundation, she improvised using demonstrations to engage students without sophisticated equipments, which has really helped the students to understand the concept of Biology.
She informed that the results of her students in WAEC, NECO, and Jamb has improved tremendously by 98% because of the good knowledge of practical and her ability to galvanize other teachers to form a group to assist expose the students in practical aspects.
Mrs. Ekaette thanked the Inoyo Toro Foundation for the life changing experience, noting that the Inoyo Toro Foundation is God sent which celebrated excellent and abhors mediocrity as she encouraged the foundation to continue the good work because it has brought out the best in Akwa Ibom teachers.
