NSE NTUEN DID NOT WIN AKHA SEAT IN ESSIEN UDIM – APPEAL COURT RULES

The Court of Appeal in Calabar has set aside the order by the tribunal for a certificate of return to be issued to Mr Nse Ntuen of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in respect of the Essien Udim State House of Assembly Seat.
The five man Appeal Court ruled that the lower court was wrong in making an order for the issuance of certificate of return to Nse Ntuen.

The court did not give a specific ruling as either a re-run or a fresh election.
Appearing for the Appellants were Ekemini Udim (holding the brief of Tayo Oyetibo SAN), Assam Assam Jr. Nyakno Usoroh and Daniel Atakpa
In appearance for Nse Ntuen were Paulinus Idio, Patrick Umoh and Joseph Uko
